FHE Activity Ideas

  • Make homemade rootbeer
  • Pretend to be pioneers and do something you wouldn't normally do, like make dinner over an open fire. This is also great preparedness practice.
  • Have a taffy pull
  • Do chores, like painting or gardening
  • Acts of service
  • Plan a budget, chore chart, vacation, or more
  • Visit a cemetary where some ancestors are buried for family history
  • Go to your nearest family history center
  • Make icecream
  • Pick fruit and then make a pie or jam from the fruits of your labors
  • Create holiday cards or wrapping paper
  • Clean the church
  • Can or preserve your vegetables
